Rapha HQ

Installations for Rapha; a world-renown cycling lifestyle brand.

We worked with Bravo. Charlie. Mike. Hotel. to help breathe life into Rapha’s impressive new HQ in North London. The project had several aspects; there was hand-painted signage, ‘Painted Road’ floors and their iconic Citroën H Van reimagined.

The H Van was to be the centre piece on the ground floor of the new HQ. It was broken down into panels with each showcasing one of Rapha’s legendary collaborative jerseys.

The painted road was inspired by the painted roads and seductively naive lettering that litters the routes in the Tour de France. We designed a typeface that was utilitarian and aimed to retain the essence of the original. The strokes and forms were dictated by the rollers and processes that were to be used in production.
