Brand identity for a Bagel Shop & Deli on Church Street, Stoke Newington.

We wanted to create something that was nostalgic with a nod to deli’s of NYC and MTL. The Typography is soft but bold using a confident, inky serif that is full of personality. Onsite, texture comes from the choice of materials and tactile processes, such as hand-painted signage and graphics.

The aim was to build a brand that is full of character and we always knew that illustration would play a key role in this. Whilst the food is seriously good the guys wanted an identity that was fun and playful. The tactile aesthetic provided by the illustration mirrors the artisanal approach to food that is at the Heart of their offering.
